Allison Green
Allison Green joined SuRo Capital in March 2019, having served as Senior Vice President and Controller at its former external advisor, GSV Asset Management, since July 2017.
Prior to that Allison was Controller at Rise Companies Corp, parent company of Fundrise, a Washington, DC-based crowdfunded real estate investment platform, where she led financial reporting of the parent company to a successful SEC Regulation A+ Tier 2 crowdfunded IPO. Prior to Fundrise, Allison was the Controller at the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital following her time as a ProInspire Fellow at the Council, where she worked on modernizing the financial aspects of the annual Girl Scout Cookie Sale, the largest girl-run business in the world.
Prior to the ProInspire Fellowship, Allison was a member of the Fund Management and Coinvestment teams at The Carlyle Group, focusing on Europe and US Real Estate and Energy Funds. While at The Carlyle Group, Allison founded the firm’s Young Professionals Employee Resource Group. Allison began her career at Deloitte & Touche in Los Angeles as an audit associate focused on financial services clients.
Allison holds dual degrees in Business (Finance) and Accounting from the University of Southern California.
