Maulik Sardhara joined SuRo Capital as Controller in April 2022. Prior to joining SuRo, Maulik was the Controller at Weizmann Global Endowment Management Trust (“W-GEM”), a limited partner allocating capital across a diversified portfolio, leading the financial reporting and internal controls functions and reporting to the firm’s Investment and Audit Committees. At W-GEM, he significantly enhanced the firm’s investment performance.
Prior to that, Maulik worked as a Manager in the fund administration division of SS&C Technologies, serving large private equity clients. Prior to SS&C, Maulik held positions in the finance departments of private equity firms Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, and HealthCare Royalty Partners, where he played an integral role in accounting and investor relations functions. Maulik began his career as an audit associate at PwC in New York, focusing on large multinational clients in the Banking and Capital Markets industry.
Maulik is an active CPA license holder. He graduated from Montclair State University with a BS in Accounting and Finance.
